Root like hell for this team like hell , but disappointed in their sloppy play . Blows a 15 point lead . Team gets out sync after getting lead .very sluggish on defense . Turner can't do it alone under the boards .Westbeld disappears in some games especially when needed under the boards. We are not a tall team and everybody has to rebound . Ogunbowale and Young get beat a lot on back doors .


This team needs an over haul . At this time of the season we should have seen a lot of improvement .we are just not getting it done .Meanwhile UConn is at a different level .Losing the top 3 picks in the WNBA draft and many thought Auriemma's team this year would take a step back and college teams like ND , Baylor , Mississippi St ,South Carolina,etc looked to have a chance at beating UConn .No Way.

As good a coach as McGraw is , she needs to do something ? We may not make the final 4 or even the final 8.

In women's basketball, you are in the top four or the next dozen or part of the rest. ND's bigs are not the same caliber of the top fifteen or so teams. They also miss way too many easy shots and are sloppy with too many dumb passes. Normally, Muffets teams execute really well like Breys teams, but not this year. I think the guards are as good as any team but they are just weak underneath.

We are used to near perfection from the WBB team. This year they are human. McGraw needs to figure out how to recruit some post players. You can only win so many games with point guards and wings.

#1 women's high school player was thought by some to be a ND commit but settled on UConn. And the #2 Evina Westbrook also had ND in her four , from Washington St.? decided on Tennessee . But we did sign 6'3" players Vaughn and Patterson for 2017 some help for Turner in the paint

Yes, she "only" has one National Title. But the Irish are in the conversation for the title EVERY year. Perennial Final Four/Title Game every year. Is it her fault she happens to be coaching at the same point in time with one of the greatest ever (Auriemma)?

Recently, we've had trouble with UCONN, no doubt about it. But we've also had streaks of our own against them. Beat them 4 out 5 or something like that awhile back.

And it's not like she's a lazy recruiter. She gets her share of blue-chippers. But no one can blame a girl for wanting to go to UCONN. They've won 10 national titles!! Why wouldn't the best players want to go there? If Geno wasn't around, Muffet would be considered the best women's coach out there - period. Unfortunately, Geno has a strangle-hold on that title for the foreseeable future.
