Funny how the article states it's all rumors by fans on social media. More than likely, some that are the usual suspects on this board that look into their crystal ball.
We all know who those posters are.
An article written on the speculation from the resident feces throwers on ND message boards. This is journalism in this day and age unfortunately.

Ludwig was brought up pretty much as soon as Rees left. There are multiple podcasts speaking about him. He was the number 1 target for a couple sites of all OCs and obviously a top candidate for Notre Dame as he was one of only 2 coaches brought to campus.
Any time the phrase, “a respected source” is used, I ask myself, if they’re so respected why don’t they identify themselves ?

He is the worst poster as far as being just a nasty individual with no civilty for people. His must be the only opinion allowed much like a liberal would do. I try to listen to both sides whether I agree or not. But with he and PatrIrish always putting others down to raise themselves has made this board a wasteland for vulgarity and egotism. He who puts himself first,shall be last,saith the Lord.
You mean you love how the board did a 180 and accepted the worst case scenario with Parker? Yeah, that’s typical. Not typical of 90% of fan, just a few of the ones here. Low expectations and not wanting what’s best for our student athletes at the expense of fans supported by the loud minority of super fan boys like yourself that would take a knee publicly to Swarbrick.

If you have that big a problem with virtually everything that happens with ND football, then I suggest you find another team that's more worthy of your undying support.

I don’t put him down to elevate myself, I put him down because he misrepresents, fabricates and lies !
All valid reasons for anyone to put him down.
For example, he stated that we should use the money from Alabama’s buy-out of Tommy Rees’s contract to pay for Ludwig and his OC’s Buy-out. He stated that despite Swarbrick stating that Notre Dame had no problem paying for Ludwig’s Buy-out/s.
But there was a huge hole a huge error in his statement.
There was NO Buy-out for Tommy Rees.
When I pointed that out to him, rather than admit that he got it wrong, what does he do ?
He immediately attacks Notre Dame and Swarbrick for failing to put a Buy-out clause in Tommy Rees’s contract.
Then I pointed out to him that it was more than likely that Tommy Rees only had a one year contract, perhaps with an option for TR to extend it.
What you apparently fail to see is the following, every time he’s wrong, which is frequent, rather than admit that he is wrong, he changes the subject in an attempt to divert attention from the fact that he’s wrong. So I call him out on his misrepresentations, fabrications and lies.

Of course you have the right to complain, but it seems as if that's ALL you do. At a certain point people tend to lose credibility because of that.
BTW, you never did reveal the source of your statement regarding the 90% of fans that are unhappy with the OC situation.
You expect that there’s real data on that? It’s a hunch based on the media and fan flip out on social media. It’s actually probably >90%. I was being conservative.

I know there's no real data on that. That's just your opinion, to which you're entitled. If that number was accurate then this board would be imploding, which it isn't.
How about waiting to see how it all plays out? Maybe, just maybe, the combination of Parker and Guidugli will work out just fine. Maybe even an improvement over Rees.
Do I think he was the best candidate...No
Do I think he can still be a really good OC....Yes
Do I think he has a chance to be better than Rees....Yes
The author of the article states that Hartman isn't going anywhere for multiple reasons. He pointed to the rumors which are just that rumors. People should read the article instead of just looking at the title of the article and drawing conclusions.
I also had him sign a mini helmet. He is a nice guy. I have been to 4 men's basketball games this season. I am more interested in the basketball head coach search. Hopefully we bring in an experienced coach who is an outstanding recruiter.

I didn't advocate for any one particular coordinator.
I did however point out that the above wasn't a good look...
Now were there people out to get ND with malicious comments stating the buyout fiasco who knows butvthe fact remains it's not a good look. #1 the buyout issue...
And or...
#2 the position isn't highly coveted...
