Notre Dame will finish higher that this start.
With a 6-0 start and wins over highly ranked MSU and Stanford ND Will be thought of as th nations best team by October 9th.

It's something for the fans to talk about. Heck, they could have named Flatulence Tech as pre-season #1 and it won't mean a thing until all the smoke has cleared.
I do. ND is usually ranked lower after the season. They get all the preseason hype then flop.

I'd like to recommend all to turn off signatures in settings so you can browse this forum on a mobile device without having to sift through a half dozen signature pics (like cgvr's).
Kelly's pre/post season final AP rankings haven't been great outside of 2012 but a lot of that can be credit to poor injury/academic suspension luck.
He's gone into several seasons with a big chunk of his 1st/2nd team out before the season even started. I'd like to see what he can do with a nearly full 2 deep.

I promise it is a much more enjoyable experience on this Board when you put these guys on Ignore.
According to your logic Kelly is better than Holtz.
Holtz had only 2 seasons he finished higher than started ('88 & '93) in 11 seasons.
Holtz had the largest drop from 4th to unranked in '94. (And second drop from 7th to 21st in '96).
Kelly had the largest jump from 24th to 3rd in 2012.
So....?
