....gonna schedule an SEC team. I wouldn't mind seeing you guys in Florida or better yet have a reason to see touchdown Jesus. Go Gators

We're playing a home and home with Georgia in a couple of years. I'd love to visit The Swamp at some point for a game.

Seriously? When did you last play a non-con game outside the state of Florida? So now all of a sudden you want to come to South Bend? Not happening.

Seriously, we were in negotiations with you for a home and home.

It goes way back to Billy Donovan's/Pete Crotty's St. Agnes roots.

Then your AD went bonkers:

Why not? No animosity here, I just want to play those gold helmets. And your tradition of course!

Why not? Because FLORIDA won't do it. Do you not pay attention to your own program? Look at our schedules over the past 25 years. We will play anybody who will play home and home.

Learn how to do some research bro. ND has future games scheduled with Georgia and Texas A&M. ND has played Tennessee and LSU in the past. It's your Florida Gators that won't leave the south for a game. Look yourself in the mirror at some point.

Well since you guys are almost an "ACC TEAM", I would gladly replace the noles for yearly meetings with ND!

RAD, Take a couple 1-AA patsies off your schedule and add a a couple northern games like Michigan State and Ohio State, then we'll talk.

 Gators asking about scheduling a game above the MD Line? That's rich!

in fact sense you gator fans wanna talk smack on here! how about schedule clemson we would love to kick the shit outta you!!!!!!!!!!

10/4...Clemp wouldn't score over 13points on our D.
You wouldn't play Clemson. Are you not getting the whole theme of this discussion? P5 non-conference games outside Florida are purely theoretical for you.

Florida has not played a non-conference road game outside the state of Florida since 1991 (Syracuse).

Slow your roll folks... lol. Good grief, the OP didn't come over here and talk crap, be belligerent, or disrespectful in any way and you all are jumping down his/her throat.

I would love to see ND play Florida, Alabama, etc., more regularly. Of course I"d love to see those teams in the Bend in November shivering their asses off too. lol

NDSMC78, you're right there. Being from PA, I haven't been to an ND home game in years. One of the fondest home game memories I remember however was the PSU/ND "Snow Bowl" way back in 91 I believe. That was a COLD day in the Bend.... lol

# 3 fl vs # 18 ND....they're still trying to remove Bettis' footprints from their backs....

Nd lifetime 1-0....

Florida has played in Indiana once. Around the world war if I remember right. The first war that is. And lost. And has never came back.

Just Alabama for all their glamor they have never played at Michigan.

How could I forget that game....just kidding. My man Derek Brown all American tight end that I graduated with from Merritt Island Florida was finishing his last year with the Irish. It didn't bother me much at that time to see that one finish your way...

Very cool. What was he like in HS? Did he play other sports?

Derek was the bomb....But if it wasn't for me lending him my prom date Christine Gwiazda for a photo It may have damaged his ego for life...

ND does not shy away from playing heavyweights. When UF and the SEC decide to stop playing the New Mexico States and Florida Internationals of the world then they should talk.

GatorRad

ND already has a number of schedule commits with SC, Stanford, Navy, 5 ACC schools and a rotation of State and Purdue. That leaves very little room, ND does like to schedule based in geography, exposure and fans accessibility, with the ACC commitment that gets ND exposure in FL with FSU and Miami. Same with CA with Stanford and SC, and playing Texas and Shamrock series games in places like San Antinio. Texas is just fallen off the map. I personally would love to see the playoff champ game be bid in and won by a city like NYC, Chicago or Seattle and play their January whatever.

The game between Michigan and Florida is scheduled for 2017, not 2019, and will be played in Arlington, Texas.

A fairly accurate poster had said 2017 at first and then switched it to 2019. Not sure which year now, at least we have a shot at Michigan during the reg season. Only thing that sucks again is that we won't be traveling up north, I would love to visit Ann Arbor and freeze my southern balls off!

You are a Florida fan talking about what scheduling ND should do.

And you don't even know Florida's schedule?

Wow. Bold strategy

Come on guys lighten up, just always wanted to step into college football's most historical stadium.
