Bat signals Usually go out an hour or so before the commitment is made public. No guarantees when it comes to these 18 yr old recruits, but I fully expect Sneed to announce for ND this afternoon. If he does, we will have an absolutely elite linebacker group in this class. It’s already damn good!

I did not know the signal was at the discretion of the recruit. Makes sense.

I think it has more to do when a kid has an announcement date and he’s the only one. If we send out a bat signal that day, it takes all the excitement out of the kids planned announcement. Not sure it is at the kids discretion, but that would make sense as well. But more importantly Ski, an awesome get, as you stated!
