ND-so cal game thread

First time I have not watched a ND game. I turn it over and easy SC TD then turn back and see four of the slow lazy offensive linemen standing after blocking nobody. God the team is just awful.
I am sure the great defense has played well today like all year.
 
Tennessee fans warned us about Hiestand. Should have listened.
 
yea, we gave him early credit before he really proved deserving. He lucked into two great talents.

You know Kelly was throwing someone under the bus during that rant they showed on the field at halftime. Expect 2-3 more pick 6's from kizer in the 2nd half
 
ND should just head to the airport and fly back to South Bend now. No need to come out and play in the 2nd half. It is just more public humiliation.
 
The rants are not a problem. I saw Strong rant on his players. Meyer too. It's the coaching and development in between the rants that is the problem.
 
Kelly has the bus gassed up and ready to back it over these underachieving kids who are unworthy of his 'genius'!

Actually, I don't think Kelly is calling plays this game. He has no play sheet. So is Elston calling or Sanford?
 
just about every defense on the schedule knows just about every play ND's genius sends out there.

Least creative coach ever to walk the ND sideline! And absolutely the worst person.
 
It's not a matter of saying that everyone must go because you need quality successful people to replace them, starting with the HC. You can't replace just to replace. It has to be an upgrade to someone who understands what coaching at ND is like. Then you have to find a quality successful HC willing to accept those conditions. This is no easy task.
 
I think they said Elston is calling plays! No matter who is calling they still suck. Fire Jack and Kelly now!!!

No one cares about his rants. It's his ongoing ballistic and abusive vulgarity. The b.s. that is passed around on this site by the likes of iio, you others... that other coaches do it is also b.s... No other coach in cfb has been called out for insane, vulgar and abusive behavior more than kelly in these last 7 years.
PS those other coaches aren't under the Golden Dome....

Irish John and bodi would be an upgrade. They can flip for AD.

You have no credible opinion on the matter. You are stuck singing the same old tune day in and day out. Every minute of every day. Your little time out didn't help I see. I speak for myself when I say nothing you have to offer matters.

Play calling is only as good as your game planning during the week.

I would go to books a million and read "Coaching for dummies" and have the offense running like a machine and the defense like a wild pack of dogs ! I would have won them all against this schedule ! I probably would be outcoached by Urban or Nick in the playoffs though. I am not a miracle worker!
 
It really is stunning Kelly isn't already fired. Let's go back a few weeks and everyone was talking about how Shaw was done, Stanford was not good. With a game against Rice left Shaw will likely win 9 games in his "down" year. That's good coaching.
 
Wondering if Folston comes back next year with the injuries. Dude has heart but it might be wise to save that 5th year.
 
How stupid is this staff? You don't use Holmes all year and now, the last game of the season, he's your go-to WR?!?!?
 
Someone call 911 cause ND is getting robbed...and the man is just sitting on the ND sideline on live TV. All I want for Christmas is that ****er gone.

You would delegate and be 10 times more effective than the current HC.
You are battle tested.

I definitely agree with the no leadership. That could have helped us. I thought Nyles Morgan would be a leader but you don't hear of him doing that. Nobody along the OLine is a leader. That is where I think we lost our games, in the trenches. We simply do not have a nasty guy there or on the DLine. Our secondary is weak, hence why Tranquill starts. That guy would never see the field in the SEC or PAC 10. Plus he is playing out of position. Dude has heart but he is not an elite guy. What happened to Jarron Jones?
