ND @ Miami to open 2025 seaon

This should be true

But it definitely wasn't

Notre Dame has a very large and emotional fansbase

It was in more spots than just here
With you, it’s about creating a narrative for your I told you so bullshit.

Keep on keeping on.

Wait... Does Miami get a bye before this game??? That would be so unfair!

Hopefully it's a night game. The heat/humidity that time of the year is no joke!
:p
That’s rich. The two service academies beat up on a bunch of small schools. The schedule this year has not been entertaining. All down hill after week 1
You are entertained by the helmet and not the team wearing it.

Nah. 4 conferences ea h have 3 open games. That's like 60 teams. We only will need 4 to 5 to make a schedule

1 to 2 non p4

4 or 5 teams need to schedule us on a particular year. They will

We'll be fine there
The ACC is DMW. When it dissolves all of the handwringing about the grant of rights will be moot.

This site represents an extremely small fraction of the entire Notre Dame fan base.

Relatively speaking, no one wanted Marcus Freeman fired after losing to Northern Illinois.
It’s one of the worst losses in program history … and nd has a really talented team; which puts that loss completely on the coaches

Questions and concerns were and are warranted

I was here at the end of 2016 with Brian Kelly. I experienced the Notre Dame fan base then.

I was here after Northern Illinois.

No one wanted Marcus Freeman fired.
That's false. Here and other places, a faction of the fanbase wanted Freeman fired.

Bullshit.

Relative to the entire fan base, no one wanted Marcus Freeman fired. I certainly didn’t, and anyone with common sense did not.

Leonard should have been benched during the game, that was obvious then, and even more obvious after.

I stated freeman needs to go 11-1(we should) to not be on hot seat. We should roll every team we play remaining.

Special teams is Not good

Jury out on landlow
More Bs from you. Team is developing a good culture and the coaching staff is strong.

What are you trying to say? Are you trying to quantify a % of the total number of ND fans that wanted Freeman gone?

All I can go off of is here, a few social media platforms, and anther board that I follow. A way too high percentage of those fans wanted Freeman gone.

At 1-1, after a convincing win at A&M, then a bad home loss to NIU........a real percentage fans wanted Freeman out.

You're denying that? You were here and saw all of it....

Absolutely denying it.

I was here at the end of 2016 when the vast majority of the fan base wanted Brian Kelly fired. Hell, billboards went up in South Bend wanting Kelly fired.

Relative to that, no one wanted Marcus Freeman fired. And the very very few who did are idiots.

ND needs a true easy game week 2 or have a bye like purdue did in week 2. I don't love a week 2 bye though but this might be the right one to fully game plan for miami, then fully game plan for A&M.

I think you'll see October 11th bye, and November 15th Bye if they don't use week 2. If they use week 2, they most likely finish the season with 6 games in a row
Or maybe they should just strap it up and beat a Northern Illinois on their home field like they should.
