16 points in their games this season. I thought that was quite strange.

The team is averaging 40 pts ppg, and giving up 18 ppg.

This is the best offense we've had since 2005. Both statistically and by the old eye ball test.

Best rushing offense in a long time. We can pass the ball to save our lives. That is why we lost the Georgia game.
The Georgia game was the second game of the season I believe things could be different if the Irish were to meet them at the end of the year

One thing I noticed. Tackling wasn't as good as it was in the first 4 games. Maybe they were not as focused.

Safety play was not good, again. In particular, Elliot is not playing well. Elko is doing a great job of protecting them so they don't get shredded, but the Elliot / Studstill combo need to get a lot better.... Or Derrik Allen just needs to hurry up and get to campus.

I'm hoping Asmar Bilal moves go Buck next year if JOK or one of the incoming freshman are ready to bacķ up Tranquill. He doesn't play the rover position well. Lacks the instincts for it. I'd like to see him make a Te'Von Coney type jump in the weight room next off season and play alongside Coney. I'd like to see a 3 for 2 rotation with Jamir Jones in that mix as well if they can keep him from getting any bigger over the next year.

Lets see, ND was home team, UGA had a true frosh starting his ffirst game, no advantages for ND right? You think ND is the only team improving? If not for penalties keeping drives alive ND wouldn't have scored a TD the first time around, 2nd wouldn't be any different.

Georgia's defense is lights out. 2 shutouts and holding us to 55 yards rushing. Georgia is top 4 imo. They will keep improving. Fromme looks like he will be a good one. No telling how the game would go at the end of the season. Maybe more of the same if our passing game doesn't improve.
