Our defense is a bit of an enigma. At times the tackling is horrendous. At times we are confused like their first Td pass when our corner didn’t realize middle was empty. At times our corners look terrible also. But we have enough pluses to get better

Part of it is Golden’s play calling (blitz)

part of it is the frosh in the secondary

part of it is poor tackling mostly from some LBs and the secondary

but they have played well enough to be undefeated

There was one spot in the 3rd-4th qtr where we were playing our heels and the secondary looked slow. Maybe a few plays where we could not get pressure without bringing the lbs. Still check the scoreboard. The defense has won every game except maybe BYU?
