Couple quick notes:
- Trey Mancini hit 2 bombs in the Orioles' 7-2 win vs. Oakland Thursday. He's got 20 on the season, the first O's rookie to blast 20+ HRs in a season since Cal Freakin' Ripken in 1982. Mancini has 47 games to break Cal's Oriole record of 28 HRs in a rookie season.
- Torii Hunter Jr. is hitting .321 for the Angels' Rookie League affiliate in Orem, Utah. He's also got a .399 OBP and an .821 OPS. Enters tonight's game with a nine-game hitting streak and has hit safely in 25 of his team's 31 games. He's also got 11 walks and 22 strikeouts which, for a guy who's hardly played baseball, isn't bad.
