Navy and Pitt both struggling - so much for that part of the argument

Pitt looked very good last week. Navy hasn't played much of a schedule outside of ND. Houston is taking them to the house.

Both teams getting rolled. Pitt's loss is especially bad because Miami is awful. Raises a fair question: what is ND's best win?

Yep. Not going well.

At this pint in guessing anything short of a 4TD win vs Stan will leave us looking unworthy. Unless there is some serious carnage with the 5 teams ahead of us.

ND's best win will be tomorrow. Need help from Oklahoma St, etc... But my Christmas wish is for a two loss Michigan to be the Big Ten champ.

Man Houston has to be kicking themselves for that bad bad loss. They are sticking to NAVY today.

Miami is far from awful. They have been playing well after firing Golden. Lots of talent.

Southern Cal, and that's a team I'd be willing to bet Michigan couldn't beat.

Which is Michigan's best win? Northwestern or Penn State? You haven't beaten anyone better, because they don't exist in the BIG right now. Your conference is weak this year, so it was almost a perfect storm for Harbaugh to have his initial campaign.

With that said, I do hope your Wolverines beat those a-holes from the State of Ohio tomorrow.

Dude, I'm not remotely making the case UM should be among 4 playoff teams. Sorry to let you down. I'm responding to others who suggest ND is a top 4 team. And you sound really ignorant to suggest the B10 is down with 4 teams in Top 10, a defending Nat'l Champion plus a 9-2 Northwestern team who defeated Stanford. How'd you all fare versus NW last season? Thought so. Meanwhile, outside of Clemson and FSU the ACC is a pile of rubble. Grow up already.

I expected nothing less from the likes of you. You do this virtually every time you come on our board. You cannot allow for anyone's opinion other than your own. And I wonder why I left the state of Michigan.

You want to discuss last year? How did Michigan do last year? ND won their bowl game against LSU. How did Michigan's turn out?

You are correct; just like ND, Michigan doesn't have a great win. Northwestern is (or will be) at least 15th if they beat Illinois. Not great.

As far as "the Big Ten is weak", that is ridiculous. Five teams in the top 16. Four in the top ten. If the Big Ten is weak, what does that make the ACC or the PAC?

so if UM beats tOSU and then beats Iowa they are B10 champs. In that case no B10 team in the tourney!
If OSU beats Ok. the the rep there is?

And if Clemson losses ... next 2 ?
and USC beats UCLA in the P12 and then losses to ? in the champs game! then
And if UF beats FSU then gets whupped in the SEC title game and ....

then the committee should put the top 8 teams in a hat and draw out the playoff participants!

UM won't get in the champ game unless Michigan st loses.

Difficult envisioning Sparty losing at home to Penn State. Penn State has a solid defense but unless that defense scores or they run back a couple of kicks, it is difficult to see the Nitts scoring more than ten.
