Columbia (S.C.) Richland East three-star linebacker and Louisville commit T.J. Brunson plans to be in South Bend for the Texas game. Brunson told Blue & Gold Illustrated on Tuesday, that he has been invited by Notre Dame to the game, and that he plans to make the trip with his family for an unofficial visit.
"It has awesome football tradition and a great program. I've always wanted to visit Notre Dame," Brunson said in a message.
The 6-0, 220-pound linebacker started hearing from the Irish in early August. He has been committed to Louisville since July.
