Lets be real, BK IS NOT GETTING FIRED

Another coach who will be unqualified for the position cause it will be someone from BK's past coaching tree.

You guys need an elite DC, who do you go after?

I agree that Kelly is not going to lose his job - unless he has multiple seasons like this one (even then, I have my doubts as to his dismissal).

Kelly was Swarbick's hire and I'm confident that Jack would not want to admit to a major error in hiring a head coach.

In fact, I will be pleasantly surprised if BVG gets fired.

BTW, how did Swarbrick - who is a lawyer and with no previous experience as an AD, get the position of AD at ND? Whoever hired Swarbrick should maybe walk the plank.

Weis was fired for less. Kelly needs to go. This was the last straw for me. Only wanted BVG to go before but after this debacle, Kelly needs to go too.

Remember this .In2012 ND played Alabama for NC. In 2014 we almost beat#1 Florida State if not for the block in the end zone and we were headed for a great season only to have it fall apart at the end ,injuries and all. In 2015 we were again in the conversation only to lose to Clemson and Stanford costing us a final 4 .

I have to say I am shocked there is anybody left still trying to defend Kelly. I'm not name-calling or being derogatory just surprised anybody still thinks he's the guy for the job going forward.

the AHA moment!

What about Bud Foster at Va. Tech. Ranked as on of the top D coordinators in college football. I think ND would be a step up from Virginia Tech.

No one is defending BK but these are all undisputed facts. Without saying the words Tom Herman, who would be a potential realistic candidate as our new HC? One thing is for sure, BVG needs to be released either sooner or later.

Well then fans can take the next 3-5 years off! Fans will not be needed nor appreciated.

Games can be private viewings for Swarbrick.

Probably correct if we win 6 or more games which is why I'm hoping ND loses out.

Jack had no prior AD experience? and you guys are opposed to Sanford as a replacement for Kelly?

What does one have to do with the other? An AD job is a CEO job and you need someone that is skilled in negotiation, public relations, finance and hiring all of which Jack has.

Alan Mulally who took over Ford Motor in 2006 completely turned the company around and he had no automotive experience at all.. but he was a CEO. Now he's on the board a Google and he has no IT background.

To be a HC at a high pressure university like ND you need some experience being a HC.
