Id say Sneed is the top guy of all but KVA may have the highest floor of all. At worst, he's going to be good. He's just a natural LB talent

Absolutely elite. Unfortunately we lost 2 to the DL but when you bring in top talent you can move them around like we are
We really needed a QB, LB’s and a diff maker at WR. We had the rest. This LB group is one of the best on paper I have seen. We had Manti, alone. We had smith, alone. Now we can trot some Smith speed out there.

The more you post the dumber you look. He's the #8 prospect at his position in the 2024 cycle. Alabama doesn't have anyone in the top 10 at that position committed. In fact, ND is one of only 5 teams with a top 10 recruit at that position.

I guess it depends on the definition of elite. Elite is top tier for me, and there are still 2/3 programs that recruited the position better than us the past few years. We are second tier. Start getting 2/3 KVA type guys per class and that’s elite
You don’t think there’s still a gap between us and Georgia/bama? The rankings say otherwise. Georgia got 3 lbs higher rated on the consensus than Drayk Bowen who was our highest. Not trying to be a downer but it would seem to be there is still an obvious tier above us
I’m not him if that’s what you’re suggesting. I think KVA is a huge get. He’s an elite LB that could play anywhere. I’m just pointing out that Georgia and Bama get 2-3 of those guys a year. Most programs get zero guys like that a year. So no doubt things look bright going forward. But there’s still a recruiting tier that’s a level above our LB classes the past 3 seasons, which is why I’m reluctant to say they’re “elite”

There is, because they've got depth at each of those LB positions. The elite athletes we've gotten over the last 2 cycles, Georgia and Bama get in one cycle, but we are closing the gap.
If ND and Freeman catch lightning in a bottle and manage to win a championship, the elite athletes will come in droves.
