Kizer

Totally disagree we win either with Malik. We lost to Clemson because of dropped balls and turnovers, and DK actually brought us back to win at Stanford. The defense folded with under a minute to go.

And the 10 rushing TDs. The turnovers are a concern. He also coughed one up against Ohio State and one at Clemson (the Irish recovered it and of course the rain surly had something to do with it). If he continues to turn it over, BK will have option unlike when Golson was coughing it up all over the field. Sure Malik was there but obviously BK didn't feel he was ready. I just think that Deshone's ceiling is so high that he deserves the chance to start the game at Texas. Then the chips will fall where the fall.

Seem everybody pointing to Kizer . But last season we lost a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball . Blue chip linemen in Stanley, Martin, and a solid performer in Elmer . Speedy wide receivers in Fuller and Brown plus Carlisle and Robinson and running back Carlisle .

Kizer is a decent runner not sure of how potent and explosive passing attack will be ,but Zaire is a much better runner and he may be needed more in 2016 especially if we go to perhaps a shorter passing game
The same line that looked pedestrian against Ohio State, Clemson, ?
I bet the starting 5 this year as a whole will be better.
Fuller..will be missed ...but I won't miss his drops at crucial times.
We had good players that moved on...and better ones ready to step in. We are there in the reload mode, nor rebuild.
Now can Kelly not piss his pants on 1at and goal from the 9 and call three straight hail Mary passes? We will see.
The program is growing. Our guys are maturing, and hopefully that includes polishing up of Kelly

For what it's worth a number of publications an analyst think ND has one of the top offensive lines in the country even with the losses of Stanley and Martin.
