Huh? That is just flat out wrong. According to this, he is the 68th highest paid coach in college.

There are a lot of people here who make up facts to fit their needs.
We get that you don't like Kelly, and you're certainly entitled to your opinion. But must you post a thread every day reminding the board of your opinion of Kelly?
What are you hoping to accomplish with these threads? Is this the third similar one in the last four days? Are you trying to convince the rest of the people? Convince yourself?
No, his total pay package is much higher, his over all salary may be low, but when you factor in all of the income streams that are attached to the job the compensation level changes dramatically (notice that the additional compensation space is blank next to his). There was an old understanding, perhaps it is even written practice, that no athletic coach or Football coach can receive a salary more than the highest paid professor. Maybe that is myth, but it seems to have held true through the years. It started with Hesburgh. Maybe I have it wrong, but that's the story. Kelly is very well compensated. He doesn't deserve it, but that's another argument.
Even if the salary is tripled given the alleged 'income streams' that would still barely qualify him as a top 25 paid coach.
Wrong, there are many income streams that you are not aware of that come with the position. This is a private institution, we do not need or are we obligated to make public the compensation programs of employed University personal.
The general consensus is that he makes between $4 million and $5 million per year, which has him well into the top 25. But since we don't have to disclose any of that info, nobody is ever totally 100% sure.

You are looking at last years list. Kelly got a HUGE raise. He makes 4mil. a year, which puts him in the top 10.

As ND fans we should want the best for the football program we cheer for. ND used to be the current Bama and OSU teams. Yes, that was a long time ago. However, as a fan, I believe ND can get back to that place of dominance. We just need the right guy in charge. ND would never have the history it now enjoys if the fans and the university settled on mediocre coaches. There is absolutely no way after seven years, that Kelly should be given an eighth or ninth or even a tenth year.
But do you really feel the need to tell us day after day?
I've lost faith myself, but when is it enough?

Uh, I just read the link you provided. It is a bit outdated, don't you think? Spurrier retired from South Carolina during the middle of last season. And Sarkisian was fired by USC. Richt and Pinkel have also moved on. Good stuff.
