No matter how well ND played this week at the ACC tournament that the screw job selection committee would block any chance at the final 4. It was the lock of all locks that we'd see ND in Kentucky's region. Wonder when there will be a pro-ND committee? Ever?

I agree. I just thought ND earned the right to not be in Kentucky's region a least. That's all I was hoping for deep down. I still think it's more anti-ND than anything else. The committee can't take away last night.

I seem to recall sentiments like this in late December

Great news !! Bring on Kentucky !! Another Giant to topple !! My favorite basketball game of all time was when Notre Dame defeated Bill Walton and John Woodens UCLA team to end their 88 game winning streak!! ND was down like 11 points with only like 3 minutes to go!!

Go Irish!! Slay the Giant with your 3 pointer sling shots!!

Discarding the conspiracy theory consider that at least ND isn't in the same half of the bracket that KY is in. ND has two tough matchups to worry about before they probably see KY. Both Kansas and Butler will be a pretty good test for any team not named KY.

Little turnovermachine, take off your tinfoil hat. You've been reading too many conspiracy websites. :)

Pure crap!
I agree! It seems they didn't want a chance of two Indiana teams in the final 4 from Indiana when the finals are in Indy.

I don't think the committee was too worried about 2 teams from Indiana making it to the final four. ND is/was the only shot of doing that going into the selection process.

ND does have a history of knocking off giants...history is the key word though.

I'd just be concerned they get out of the first weekend this time.

At least they get the early 12:15 game on Thursday so no wondering if the game before them is going to run long. Plus it gives them a little bit extra rest going into the next game. If they play like they did in the first halves of their games in the ACC tournament and get at least a half decent start in the second half, they should win easily. This team should get into the second weekend but I thought the team from I think 2011 would too when they were a 2 seed. I do have more confidence in this team especially the way they didn't rely as heavily on the 3 pointers in the ACC tournament and actually did some good inside scoring.

I honestly don't think the committee has any idea that they put all five Indiana teams in the same region. They just seem clueless in so many ways.
