Most people (even the talking heads) had ND at 8-4 AT BEST. When MZ went down most people had ND at 7-5 or 6-6. Look I want ND to win EVERY game by a 56-0 score in every game, but that is not going to happen. It is extremely hard to go undefeated. Yes the loss hurts but when looking back at this season and all the freshman that had to play can only make us stronger in the future.

Good post, Bodi. I also have mixed emotions however. Super proud of what they were able to accomplish. Dismayed since this was supposed to be the year. Not sure what to make of the fade that seems to happen at the end of every year...

only team that has better talent than us. Who else is more talented than us out of these?

Other two teams that are close to us in talent level we lost to both

Stanford (We've better talent on our roster than Stanford)

Oh I've been around, class of 79'. Just seems the landscape has changed more than we have. Each year we have our excuses to fall back on, but at some point realization has to occur. We had no business losing this game tonight, none.

Attitudes have changed as well. I read a lot of posts tonight accepting 10 - 2 as a great season! Wrong! We should never be accepting of 10 - 2, especially when you have to defend 25 seconds for 11 - 1!!!
