There has been some speculation that Notre Dame will pass on a quarterback in the recruiting class of 2016. Most would like to believe that would be the case if 2017 phenom quarterback Hunter Johnson gave an early commitment. With last years signing of Brandon Wimbush, Notre Dame proved its still an attractive option for top rated quarterbacks despite not developing an NFL draft choice since Jimmy Clausen. So does Notre Dame sign a quarterback in the 2016 class, and would that effect a commitment from Hunter Johnson? So how interested is Hunter Johnsons in Notre Dame, and does his skill set match up with Notre Dame spread offense?
