Visiting this weekend! Gotta grab this kid. This secondary could be tremendous down the road with a few more lock down corners. Allen will be playing safety at ND if everything sticks till signing day. Gervin and Griffith would be a dynamic duo at CB

Griffith and Radley-Hiles would by a dynamic pairing. Gervin as a slot defender, nickel-dime type, ala Shaun Crawford, with Derrik Allen at SS... Hell, while I'm funneling kool-aid, why not just add Tyreke Johnson at FS playing over the top of all of them :)?

one of our 2018 verbals gave out a teaser last night and got a lot of us irish fans thinking Griffith with him being in town for the weekend. this isn't his first visit and so hoping for a verbal

He went to Mt Carmel before he transferred to IMG and visited ND more than once. Maybe he's an Irish lean.

I believe Michigan has a lock on him if he wants,,,

i keep seeing cryptic messages on twitter from the '18 commits that makes me think he's gonna commit. Him or 1 of the other 2 guys visiting this weekend i guess. Just saw that Stepp tweeted, "We all waiting" with a pair of eyes at the end. After 1 of the twins posted you wont believe who's next you gotta think thats somebody big. Put me down for a Griffith commitment is coming.

this is a irish vs osu battle according to insiders with Michigan not having a chance

It was "All Irish" before the down season and his transfer to IMG Academy.

Ohio State is definitely the main threat here, though I still like where ND stands with him

Has ND developed a relationship with IMG when they hired the Strength coach?

Somebody as of last night cb'd him to OSU. Not a good sign. I have no idea how his visit went.

His visit went well from all accounts, but OSU owns ND in recruiting for top tier defensive prospects. Doesn't mean ND can't win this one, but it's going to be a battle until the very end. Same goes with Malik Vann, Tyreke Smith, Aeneas Hawkins and Dallas Gant. If ND gets swept by Ohio State for those 5 guys, recruiting is going to take a major hit. Even if ND goes 1-4, that's terrible. 2-3 at a minimum is a must as it relates to ND's defensive class... Unless ND somehow ends up landing guys wayyyy more guys than one would expect from outside of the Midwest.

Griffith is the best chance ND has at an elite corner in the cycle. If OSU gets him it's a major blow. 11 months to go :)

The timing was right after the visit so how the analyst made his pick at that time is either he knows HG or he is just speculating.

recruiting services have some insiders that are real homers that will do whatever to help out that certain team in recruiting that they cover. they sometimes are also giving out CBs on certain players in hopes of getting new subscibers from certain fan bases that follow the school that they cover. I wouldn't put too much into the CB for ohio st for Griffith until you find out which insider put in the pick
