Do either of them have any college experience? And it took the Falcons an entire season to figure out Shanahan's offensive system and get on the same page with him. Does that not have BVG written all over it?

Do we know if they'd have any inclination to recruit, or develop talent from scratch, rather than scheme for ready made NFL draft picks?.... Because the former takes up about 60% of a college coach's time, which can often be an enormous adjustment for an NFL coach, who spends his time in a considerably different manner.

Agree - no college FB coaching experience (no recruiting contacts etc).

ND is no place for an inexperienced head coach to do 'on the job training' (remember Charlie Weis?).

'On the job head coaching training' is for MAC-level colleges and the like.

Yet another example of someone throwing out random names without putting in any serious thought. Not only unhelpful, but also tiresome.
