Wisconsin goalie Jared Moe kept saying no to Notre Dame. The Irish now need to win Saturday and Sunday to advance in Big Ten Tournament.

Game thread below.

No. 7 Notre Dame (25-9-0) will host Wisconsin (9-22-3) this weekend in a best-of-three series in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals.

The third-seeded Irish won three of the four matchups with sixth-seeded Wisconsin in the regular season. The series gets started tonight in the Compton Family Ice Arena at 7 p.m. EST.

Notre Dame won both home games against Wisconsin in November by margins of 5-1 and 3-0. The Irish split the series at Wisconsin in February with a 5-3 loss and 3-2 victory.

The Irish have won their last five games overall including a two-game sweep of then-No. 2 Michigan last weekend. Notre Dame goaltender Matthew Galajda has allowed just 1.4 goals per game against him during the five-game winning streak with a .956 save percentage.

Notre Dame finished the regular season with a 15-5-0 record at home.
