GO CUBS GO!!!

I can't believe that the Cubs/Mets game is at the same time of the ND/USC game! Oh well I'll record the Cub game.
GO IRISH AND CUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am waiting on Irishnumberone to make a prediction on who will win before I predict anything. He is money !.

It'll be awhile. He's hiding in the stadium right now waiting until game time to pop out.

I love his inside scoops from overheard student conversations at the ACC/Joyce Center.....

The deepest bullpen will win out
Actually the Cub bullpen was quite effective against the Cardinals. I really like that the Cub pitching will be set with the extra time off. Lester and then Arrrieta is a good start to the series. It's about time Lester starts earning some of that $160M. It's times like this is the main reason the Cubs signed him.

I wasn't suggesting the Mets bullpen was deeper I was quite impressed with what the cubbies did too St Louis that's a tough ball club to beat my comment was more general

I agree with you that pitching, especially the bullpen, will be big in this series.

God, when I see a figure like $160 million I realize why I no longer pay much attention to pro sports.

It's the cost of doing business nowadays.

I know, man, I know. Saw report saying Greinke is opting out of last three years on a deal worth $70 million for the next three years.

I certainly don't think ballplayers should be in a position where they have to tend bar during the off-season to make ends meet, but being paid the GNP of a small Central American country seems a bit much.

Cubs lose the first game of the series 4-2. They lost the first game of the Cardinal series too.;)
