The whole Marcus Freeman & ND will have to take one step backwards from the 11-1 seasons, to take two steps forward and win a National Championship is half right so far.
ND has definitely taken a giant step backwards in the Freeman Era. Wake me up when ND has taken those two steps forward. I will be sure to not hold my breath.

I don’t think Buchner is the answer but the offense would have been better with him this year.

When all else fails, run Buchner is how he got busted up in a game and half. The ND QB must play from the pocket, because Rees runs a Pro-Style offense. He is grab bagging and searching for plays. The drive ended in a TD, but that is not good or sustainable offense.
Instead of worrying about Hartman landing at ND. Looks like the staff needs to find some defensive upgrades in the portal.
That was a sweet run by TB, I just hope he doesn't get hurt.
I will say that in addition to MF very, very badly wanting to win this game and not finish the season 8-5, that the last few days have given us some sweet bowl games. So we gotta do our part and represent for ND and make the Gator Bowl an awesome game as well. So hopefully this one goes down to the wire and is a classic!

Hey MF....here is a novel idea...call a TO when you see the opponent shift like that. That is what a head coach should be looking out for.
Can the the Freshman play any worse? I mean come on give him a shot and see what happens. TB can run but so far that is it.
Hopefully he is and can see that he is light years ahead of what ND has at QB right now......except for the freshman because TR/MF won't play him.
