Former Notre Dame student trainer acted unethically, committed academic misconduct

yep

a couple weeks ago dag reminded me of a pist several years ago wherein I said Kelly would leave ND in total
shambles. Admitedly not all of this is his fault. But much of the performance and recruiting issues are his responsibility and his accountability.

If you did things "the right way" you wouldn't find yourselves in the middle of this shit storm to begin with.
Still obsessed with all things Notre Dame, I see.

You should be more concerned about your annual ass-whipping that is coming up Saturday at the hands of the Buckeyes.

That's a ridiculously heavy punishment, considering "writing papers for players" probably goes on all the time at places like SEC schools but nobody finds out about it. Not to mention we already self-punished when we suspended those 5 players for the 2014 season.

Hopefully the appeal will succeed, like it has at some other schools.

ND is the one receiving sanctions for academic misconduct, not the SEC schools. You have zero idea what goes on with the athletes in the classrooms in the SEC. In fact the only conference you might is the ACC where UNC was guilty of academic fraud for decades and received no sanctions, get pissed about that, not the SEC because as far as you know factually are guilty of nothing.
