Notre Dame's search for wide receivers in the 2026 class reached a familiar destination Thursday. Brian Williams Jr., teammate of Notre Dame quarterback commit Noah Grubbs at Lake Mary (Fla.) High, reported a scholarship offer from the Irish.
According to MaxPreps, Williams caught 23 passes for 359 yards and five touchdowns in 12 of Lake Mary's 15 games last season. He finished fifth on the team in receptions.
Williams' recruiting profile has been on the rise with offers from Auburn, Florida and Kentucky earlier this week. Rivals rates him as a three-star recruit but didn't include him among the top 100 wide receivers in the 2026 class.
