Florida St

I don’t poke fun at a top 10 paid head coaches like Mike Norvell. Or Brian Kelly. Or Lincoln Riley. Tough business.

If you do, great.
Yes how dare anybody call out the top paid people at any level..yall love to call out CEOs and top paid execs of the corporate world. Why are coaches protected based on a decision to pay them? Shouldn’t that warrant more scrutiny?

I watched Notre Dame lose at home to Northern Illinois and you see fit to sit on a couch and poke fun at people in the same business.

Whatever.
Yes because it's not a thing that if ND loses 1 game that me or the board can't talk about any other team or coach. Thats a ridiculously stupid and weak statement. And it doesn't make any sense

Just really stupid logic there.

1 win in his last 8 games. That is awful. He is on the hot seat and fans want him gone

Hot seat? 90% of Notre Dame Football fans wanted Brian Kelly gone in 2016.

That went nowhere.

Who gives a shit what Florida St. fans want:

He went 4 and 8 and was close to being whacked by Swarbrick. And it wasn't close to 90% of fans who wanted Kelly gone

There's a real chance fsu only gets 2 or 3 wins on the season. His seat is hot right now

Wasnt close? You are full of shit. Brian Kelly was essentially vilified by the entire Notre Dame fan base in 2016.

And that went nowhere.

🤣🤣 Nice try. Again talking shit on ND to build up your likes of other coaches. Norvell is top echelon. Chip Kelly did a good job at UCLA. MF sucks.

By next week Mike Norvell will have 8 losses in the last 9 games. That's the same amount of losses MF has in 2.5 years
We could lose 6 of the next 6 games and I would not blame Freeman for catching the injury bug.

So that's your best argument ? The ND loss to Northern Illinois has been well documented EVERYWHERE. That said ND and their coach have responded in a positive manner since that loss. FSU has continued to regress and is in a program free fall.

Kelly was in no danger of losing his job. None. Norvell definitely is. The question is whether the administration at FSU can or is willing to eat the contract like folks at Texas A&M were with Fisher.

Its been reported that FSU is ranked 10th nationally in NIL spending. The return on that cash will demand a response. It will be termination.
Their problem appears to be that they went all in with the portal again this year, and it hasn't worked out this time.

They need to start building their team with freshman recruiting. That's still the best way to build your roster for the long run IMO.

Yeah it wasn't close to 90%. He had a lot of supporters. Not even close to 90%

Yes he was. He was forced to change his staff and change his approach with his players. He was forced to comply by capt Jack.

If he didn't, he was gone

False narrative. They weren't going to fire him after the 2016 season. There was NEVER an ultimatum. Suggestions and discussions ? Sure. Changes don't get made overnight. Have another season in 2017 like 2016 and that's a different discussion. He was always going to be given the opportunity to right the ship.

Factual narrative from people who actually know

You can't say that. He was ORDERED to make all the changes, and they were definitely forced upon him. He was privately humbled, like in a scene from The Godfather or Scarface in Swarbrick's office and made to actually kiss his ring. And Swarbrick himself picked the replacement coordinators. And I think he had to clean toilets in one of the halls on campus, on a cold and lonely winter afternoon. Right after Swarbrick took a big shit in one of them. As a gesture of good faith.

If Norvell stays out because of his buyout, then BK stayed after 2016 because of his buyout.
