The Kuharich era had loads and loads of talent ... can't figure out why he couldn't win with it. Lousy coach?

Kuharich was 17-23 at Notre Dame. 42-37 overall as a college coach. Kelly is 69-34 at ND and 240-91 overall as a head coach. really poor comparison.

I would compare Kelly to James McWeeney one of the earliest coaches. Don't know why it just fits
