Can ND block where EG plays next year. I'm not sure what the rule is since EG will graduate.
That alone may force EG toward or away from some schools.

He can go where ever but ND and an SEC school would have to work together on a deferment since EG had the suspension and that conference has a clause to stop the members from trolling troubled transfers. I ran into a local sports caster this morning and he said he heard Jimbo and Golson were talking and
"The Seminoles are also after Notre Dame grad Transfer Matthew Hegarty, a center."

Read that Golson will get his degree from Mendoza -- #1 undergrad biz school in the country!

Not bad.

Just my opinion but there's no way Golson (or pretty much any QB) could come in an learn enough of Jimbo's offense in a couple of months to be effectiveI. I doubt seriously there is serious interest in that marriage. Too much to learn in too short of time. McGuire already knows the playbook, terminology and his receivers.

Do you ever stop with the name dropping? Give it a rest dude. It's pathetic.

I thought Hegarty was heading for Oregon?

No they cannot. But to play this year at a D-1 school, the school must have a graduate program in the field he was studying.
