If you want to go big game hunting this is going to happen, get used to it. Until ND closes on a top 3 class or 2 negative recruiting will be roughest at the end.

Until the staff shows they can develop and compete for a championship it will be too easy to negative recruit and utilize nil to steal recruits from us

The fact we can’t land an absolute stud safety the next 3 classes after Hamilton is crazy

And our dline recruiting leaves a lot to be desired. Had keeley and led for moore, then Al Washington comes along

Yeah it's so easy to steal recruits from us....

All we have is the number 3 class in the country and 16 of the top 250 players in the class.

If it was so easy, why aren't they doing it? I mean what are they waiting for? Doesn't anyone want 16 top 250 players in the country.

How is it possible we are keeping these kids when it's so easy to steal from us

Crazy

Why wouldn't they?

They have the greatest coach in cfb history. They put more players in the nfl than any other school. And they always are in the mix for the NC
Not certain if he is the greatest coach. I do know he collects talent really really well and is favored in every game he plays. He has that going for him.

I would take vintage Lou Holtz any day of the week, and given equal talent, I would be fine with Lou Holtz. Best Notre Dame Head Coach I have ever watched.

7 NCs to 1 NC

2 different schools to 1 school

Everyone loves Lou but come on. It's not close

Outstanding Head Coach with better talent than everyone else. Put him in the NFL where parity is the goal and the titles don’t come near as easy.

To think St Lou had to deal with a fan base that could remember Rockne, Leahy, and Ara. He was great but he might be tied for our 3rd best coach.

You know it’s not going to finish there it’s like bragging we were 5 pre season
I dont care. Maybe we finish 5 or 6.

Hell yeah. Give me that every year with a QB and you have a chance to win a title any year.

Keep giving me the best recruiting classes since the 90s. I'll take it every year

Like you have stated in other posts, 2 things can be true.

Yes this is a good class, and yes we're not finishing it off well. I really like hillman and minchey but losing edwards, bowen, limar and not landing a vyper DE hurts (Maybe it's zinter but that's a maybe).

This class sure's up a lot of depth with some good players, I think we need to land a couple more elite ones next year on the lines especially.

We havent lost Bowen. If we lose Limar, it won't really affect anything at all. Id like to have him but we are fine at rb. Aneyas Williams coming in next class is probably a better version of him.

This class will finish in the 5 to 6 range and you take that every year with a top QB and then you can compete for a title

Unless you are jimbo fisher. Next year will help us understand if Freeman is more Jimbo (I don't think so) or trending to be more like Kirby.
