This is a win win.

Of all the positions this is the most easily absorbed
If there's one thing we should learn from this season, ND is overloaded with offensive skill talent with game-breaking quickness and speed. The fastest recruit in the country would simply be outmatched in South Bend.

In the country?

Put it this way Deion could not be a coach 10 years ago. He was a great player but He is not a great role model and would have put a school on probation. But it is what it is, he's just another symptom of the cesspool that is becoming the world. Hwe will either win big or go down in the most epic flaming dumpster fire ever. There's no middle IMO.

waiting for some millionaires to get together and create a fictitious university and fictitious classes (we have those now) and enter the NCAA!

BTW: anyone go to the Malls and see the V.S. display windows? part of the concerted effort to destroy any values in our society

Sanders has multiple charges

Put it this way. If we still had recruiting violations Sanders would be getting them. So scratch that comparison. As for hookers and blow? Who in their right mind doesn't think Deion participated in that at some point? The difference? Freeze plays the holy roller card. So when he does something egregious like he did people obviously are going to go after him with more enthusiasm.

Hugh Freeze does like to credit God quite a bit.

I expected two or three of our current running backs to hit the TP. Not talking Diggs or Estime or Price or Payne, but guys like Assaf. I also wouldn’t be shocked if Tyree goes this route as well.

This loss hurts. Fastest most dynamic player in the class. Hes not a need but definitely a want. We are stacked at rb but it would have been nice to use him all over the field
There is a Murphy's law that applies to college football recruiting every year. "The players we have are not who we want, the players we want are not who we need, and the players we need are not available.

Love and Aneyes Williams are the future at RB. Let’s just be real. He could’ve made a nice slot or KR but we have a lot of dudes coming. Honestly, if you’re leaving ND, go back to KSU. They do well with midget running backs.

Thats not the point. The program can survive any player leaving. Multiple players leaving. Half the team leaving

Do you want to win or not? You need great players to win. Will we be fine, yes.

Does the loss still hurt because we lost a great player, yes

Will we survive losing Keon Keeley, yes.

But when we play in the Playoffs and in big games, Id much rather have Keeley and Edwards than to be going against them.

I hate that ridiculous response, will we survive.
^^^ this

We need to get back to the Holtz level of recruiting, where we have more great RBs than we can get on the field.

These guys are like popcorn kernels, some pop and some don’t. Injuries, home sickness, off the field issues or a game that just doesn’t fully translate to college … we’ve had so many RBs not really pan out or become stars, we just can’t have enough exciting playmakers.

Hes our fastest and most dynamic player and is great in space.

We dont have that much at all on the roster. Very little at all.

He was different than the other guys we have gotten

No team has ever said, wedont need more team speed. And thats one thing we usually lack in big games.

And we just lost our fastest and most dynamic guy we have
Can't lose what you never had. Exactly why verbal commitments don't excite me. Sign the LOI then you know what you actually have.....until it's portal time.

Until half of them go into the portal because they want the ball more.

day is coming ND will need Names on the back of the jerseys

Agree. Pretty crowded RB room, but would have liked to see him returning kicks and catching passes out of the backfield.
This is the type of player we haven’t landed in forever

We still have very good offensive skill but this was the burner at wr we’ve needed, especially at slot

Best man wins

It's called competition

Survival of the fittest

Thats what the best programs do. Recruit as many great players that you can and let the best man win

Anyone that picks colorado over nd is being paid
There’s a family connection to Sanders - the whole football world is going to be watching to see if Prime Time’s “act” translates to big time football. He’s a dynamic personality, great pedigree as a player, and is riding high from his current success. Bringing his son and others with him. Will be interesting to see who else he can lure away from bigger time programs.

I’m excited to see this play out. We know he can generate buzz and recruit and Colorado definitely needed a spark. We will find out whether he can coach and run a major football program. If yes to both then look out.

Rahib Ishmael type forever, or are you saying this dude is better than the Rocket?

He has that type of potential…. Honestly could count this type of player on one hand that we’ve landed
I am extremely concerned about Notre Dame Football and the RB/WR room in particular surviving this.

Do you believe they will?

Probably a little faster than Tyree and lateral ability like ????. Maybe Kyren?

Smaller faster Golden Tate?

The only guy we have had here in the last 20 years faster than him is Fuller
