Was reading an article on another site

And noticed of all the recruits ND has brought in from California since 2002 there hasn't been nearly as much productivity as has there has been hype. ND has had just shy of 30 recruits from there and of course it is too early to tell with some (St. Brown for example). We tend to hear a lot about the athletes ND gets from there. But on game day their numbers don't seem to live up to it. So is it still the best thing for ND to finish every season in California for the 'recruiting advantage' it offers? Or should be a conversation about having a fluid last game in other recruiting hot spots? Such as the state of Texas, Georgia, the Carolina's, Ohio, etc. Feel free to read the article but here is the list of recruits ND has had in that time span from there:
