I thought Freeman's defense was very so-so. Gave up loads of big plays from start of the season to the end.
I don't know that I'd say Golden's defense is any better, but I definitely would not rank Freeman as a better defensive coach than Golden.

Football is a game of adjustments, which ND made. Basically in the second half ND shut down Rattler.

Funny how that D2 team laid 63 on Tennessee (#6 team in the country) and 31 on Clemson (they had a 40-game home win streak going in).

It’s not an overreaction… we were not prepared and we did not play with any effort to start the game vs a terrible I mean terrible team that SC fielded
People keep thinking we played the same SC team that played well down the stretch… they were without over half their starters and then additional key reserves .. we were without 5 starters but had all our key reserves
