Did E. Golson get a free agent contract offer?

Surprised if he didn't.
I checked a list of UDFA signings, and Everette does not show up,unless he signed today, May 2 somewhere
Of note Marguis Williams N. carolina QB - a Minn Viking
Chris Brown, Notre Dame WR a dallas cowboy
Romeo Okarawa ND DE NY Giants
Amir Carlisle and Mathias Farley picked up by Ariz. Cardinal

GOOOO IRISH, we want Victories. ++++

I would like to see the Dallas Cowboys take Golson. Romo will get injured again. Prescott may or may not work out and the other ones are below average. Golson is used to playing under the bright lights and he can scramble along with being a pretty good passer. I guess the main question is he coach-able?

Don't cry for me Argentina. If the NFL is not in my future I have a degree from Notre Dame. It's a win, win.

One thing about Golson , he has or had a very high opinion of his quarterback abilities . Think that is a very good trait if he is ever going to catch on with an NFL, CFL, or European team

The only league that would consider giving Everett Golson money to play football would be the Arena League. And I am not sure he could hack it there. His best bet if he still wants to play football is to join a Mens Flag Football league.

That's a far cry from the ND posters at this site who a couple of years ago were calling Golson a top five QB in the country and a shoe in for a New York Heisman ceremony.

To be fair the same posters called Crist the nation's 2nd best QB and a definate NY invitee. He didn't even start.

You better watch it. Gimpy does high school football laundry with a washed up NFL has been.... Here's the "expert's" opinion on ND legend Autry Denson who has one of the top performing position groups on the squad.....

"You have coaches right now in HS and lower college levels that are better than many D1A coaches. Autrey Denson coached one year of HS football down at Pope John Paul II HS and went 3-7 and resigned. They were as poorly a coached and prepared team as I've ever seen.

.Now he's suddenly a big time D1A coach. Believe me it's about who you know and less about what you know.

"He is on staff at ND because he played football for ND and played in the NFL.

"There's nothing Autry Denson did in HS that deserved his elevation to the college ranks. Other than the fact he was a former ND star and former NFL player.

"He is in the postion he's in because of what he did as a player, and because he's perceived as a guy who can recruit players in South Florida. Not because he can coach. There are 500 coaches who are more qualified to be a Running Backs coach at ND.

Actually, there was Heisman talk surrounding EG going into the Syracuse game in 2014 in the national media. Then came the inconsistent play which was followed by a very good game at FSU. I would rather forget ASU through LSU. He would turn the ball over and pat himself on the chest. He would make a poor throw and pat himself on the chest. He would then go and pout or hide on the bench. He literally threw in the towel against USC on national television. It was tiresome to watch. I'm glad he tapped out at ND so the team could move on. I wish him luck at the Colts camp.

I still can't figure out why Zaire wasn't sent in earlier in the season when Golson struggled. His emergence in the final game of the year was stunning.

I heard a report on local Indianapolis radio that Golson was quite impressive in the tryout the past weekend. I don't know where this will
end but at least he's getting a look.

Brilliant!

It's accurate. Now take another long sniff of a jock strap and remind us of you literally know nothing about the sport of football.
