I wonder if Doherty will ever get a HC gig again. He hasn't coached since the 2013 season. I think if any of his prior employers were asked for a recommendation, the response would be "no comment".

Doherty is probably done .... his approach to coaching being disciplined is not well received by all players .... it works at a school like ND where your student athlete is a little different and can handle it .... today's college game is looking more and more like the NBA ... coaches are afraid to challenge their players ....players' egos are already too big ..... he is old school .... how ironic that to be a wuss on the bench would add to your coaching longevity

No offers...ever...how 'bout proving that one...cuz your wrong!!!....Since I happen to be an alum of a particular school, played as a walk-on for 2 yrs at that school, worked in the compliance office for basketball at that school for 2 years before i got my current gig...I know for a FACT that Brey's people were called early on in the coaching search after the job at this MAJOR school opened up...his agent/rep turned the school down saying Brey was happy at ND....you are so full of shit it's unreal
