De-commit

Nothing.

Brady Quinn, yes. But, ND is not doing what every single other school is or will be doing. Essentially, ND is finding a way to remain status quo, survive, and win 8-10 games so they can still sell merch and tickets.
Garbage post.

I'm just waiting for some ND player to transfer, when he goes to pick up his pay packet, his little brown bag full of money, and he finds that it is withheld because he still has some charity work he has yet to attend to. What about his 'passion project'? Just give me the damn money, man....

Seriously, just pay these guys their money, and then let them go study, or hit the gym for an extra workout. Make them do that, require proof that they did an extra hour of study hall. So they can help the team win, and not get kicked out of school for grades. They don't need to put in a shift at the local soup kitchen. I highly doubt ND would hold out on any of their athletes because they were blowing off their 'charity' duties. That's probably just bullshit for ND's boyscout reputation.....

I'd love to see where you found that. Foskey went for likely first rounder to maybe A third rounder depending on testing, we had a mid year transfer out, a Harvard grad transfer played well for us. My guess is the rankings you are looking at was preseason.
Marist wasn't a factor because he was ran straight into a blocker every play because the middle of the line couldn't hold up. The idea was that the tackles would eat up two blockers and Marist would be free to be disruptive in the backfield. He never made it there because blockers were always prepped and waiting for him
Foskey will go round2 at worst

I am not disagreeing with Mirer03. IT did look to me like Marist was blitzing and just couldn't get through because they knew he was coming.
He was blitzing with run assignment first and foremost, hence why he was blitzing a ton straight into the center. Sometimes it really blew up the play but a lot of times it just muddied up the line and we didn't get pressure. Marist has unreal raw strength but just doesn't know how to play the position, and our coaches didn't help him out. 2 years ago, got him in situations where he blitzed and only a RB was there to pick him up and he would destroy him (see UNC game). Golden did not do that this year.

Good point. It was back the week of Clemson game so could have been old news.

I thought We could get more out of DL as well. I think Marist is a poor one on one tackler

He's going to have to test out very well to be a day two pick. Can be...sure. but his film is third round material this year.
Nah, he'll go 2nd rd at least.

He has the size, the length, the production and at a position of need. No way he slips into 3rd rd. He was good after week 3 and last year. Too much there
