Congrats Irish

Yeah, I was sitting at a blackjack table in Atlantic City, watching during the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Needless to say my profits where similar to our offense during that time. It was a great game and should be for years to come.

Didn't see the game, it was our annual fund raiser. I am sure the better team won....this year. We'll get you next year. In the mean time congratulations.
You guys are loaded with some really great young talent ! Glad we got the win, but you were in the game until the last few minutes.
Good luck the rest of the season.

hope things went 7 times better at the fund raiser than highest hopes!

as for the game: my ND season is entirely USC and UM games. There is no no more UM, so my 'winning season' is in. While I am not enamored with Kelly aside from football, if he beats USC every year he can stay 100 years as far as I am concerned.

Also, ND fans generally fail to recognize Haden's efforts and results to clean up that program. It is now with me that, I hope SC losses just 1 game a year: ND. Good luck in the coach search!

For what it's worth your boys played tuff .do you see them inquiring about coach Kelly (Eagkes)?

Given USC's history over the last few years, is it likely they go after a guy who is under a show cause edict from the NCAA? I don't see that happening.

The show cause expired in December 2014. SC will go after him. I doubt he accepts.

Haden is on very thin ice right now- so he must know he has to really get this one right. Will be interesting.

I'm with you Beach, I rarely miss a game, specifically against a great rival or team. However, I had been out on an op til 7 am, went home slept for two hours then went back to the office to type criminal complaints. I came home about six pm and crashed til 10. I woke up and watched it on DVR.

Hope your fundraiser was successful.

It did. More importantly I hope your Op went well.

Yea Michigan /Ohio St ,Auburn /Alabama in conference ,but the greatest intersectional rivalry in all of college football is ND /USC .No doubt

Hate the name calling .USC is a great school especially with their research and graduate programs. But USC is the one school I hate to lose to in football. A win in this game, to ND fans, is probably a season saver.

I have to say one of the most surprising things to happen in that game was how easily Fuller ran right by Jackson on several occasion. This is not a knock on Jackson but just how fast Fuller really is.

Thanks Beach. Classy post.

We'll find a way to beat you next year too.
