Christopher Terek

His junior film shows a huge kid carrying extra weight who is exceptionally strong. He seems to pancake someone on ever play, and plays with an attitude. Not terribly impressed with his agility beyond five yards, but he’s a natural road grader within those five. A guard at the next level for sure. Read that he lost weight and gained more tone, but haven’t seen any senior film.

Sr film is better than junior film by a lot

Definitely a guard. Road grader type guard. Big strong kid

Don't think he'll have a chance to play til year 3 but good depth player. Physical football player. Brings an attitude to the room

When was the last time ND flipped anyone from Wisky?
technically not a flip, but last year Billy Schrauth had several crystal balls to Wisky before committing to ND. that was large. he was a hometown boy and considered a Wisky lock at one point.

Might have missed it, apologize if so. Looks like a big-time pickup for ND.

ND's recruiting continues to add high quality players. Anyone know much about Terek?
Well, according to some around here, if he's not a 5-star, he can't be big-time pickup or a high quality player....And I hope you realize I'm joking.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Schrauth starts at guard next year

Ha-ha, like Alt (a Rivals 3*) -- who was just named first team PFF's All-American team along with Mayer.

hmm? 12 starters on the OL!
Not sure what you’re getting at here? We lose two starters from this year’s OL: Patterson and Lugg. Many here would like to throw the center position open as well. I’m a critic of Zeke at center, where I think he struggles against bigger interior guys. He was better and stronger this year over last, but I wonder if he hasn’t peaked in this regard.

Shrauth next to Alt has great potential. If someone like Carmody has gained weight and strength and skill, I hope we at least look at moving Fisher to left guard And Shrauth to right guard. Fisher and Alt would form an incredible left side, with possibly Shrauth and Carmody on the right side. Suspect it will be Alt and Shrauth and Rocco and Fisher, and that has incredible upside as well.

Zeke will be center here for next year and could be for next 2 years if he wants to.

Fisher isnt moving inside. Hes a tackle and probably will go pro after next year.

Alt, Zeke, and Fisher will be starting where they did this year

Schrauth, Rocco, Kristofic, Carmody will be in a 4 man battle for those 2 guard spots

Fisher is a guard at the next level. He would benefit greatly playing next to Alt. It would be the best left side in the country. They could easily replace him at right tackle . Doubt there would be a drop off. I doubt he goes pro after next year unless something changes. Very inconsistent this past season but he was better the second half after he lost the skates he looked like he was playing on.

Hes a tackle or guard on the next level. Talented enough to do both which is why he'll be a very high draft pick.

He was very good 2nd half of the year this season. He was moving people. Multiple people on some plays.

He was basically a freshman this season. Played 1.5 games last year. Still the most talented OL on our roster

A few fans here have at times rated every commit/player as a sure fire AA. In actuality a 45% success rate in a recruiting class is very good.

We, myself included, do tend to see tremendous upside in most of our commits…that’s part of the excitement of recruitment and college football. Kind of how the QB on the bench is often seen as better than the starter, etc…. I thought Max Redfeld was going to be a great college player. Heck, I thought Tosh Baker was a really good signing. Etc… So, I now get your point. I can usually decipher your facetious or witty posts, but this one escaped me. That said, we do have a plethora of OL with tremendous upside fighting for playing time on what could be the best OL in college football next year…😉😉

Ah, agree with you. I’ve definitely been wrong a few times. I think it’s easier to tell who will not be really good vs who will be really good .
