Other than EqSB, he didn't really have a go-to guy.
His best red zone target (Jones) missed the season because of grades.
He got little to no help from the run game.
Little to no help from the OL in pass protection.
Little to no help from the play caller.
The lack of a defense and special teams put lots of pressure on him to be THE guy.
But sure. Blame the starting QB! The old adage proves true again -- the most popular guy on the team is the back-up QB.
