He has not played a lot of football. I would not bet on him being the future, but I am not 100% sure he can't be.

Buchner has big play ability but he needs to really grow this off-season in regards to efficiently moving the ball and finding the open man in passing downs to keep the chains moving.

I don't rate Buchner very highly, but still think replacing him is ill advised.

Heck, he just threw a great TD!

But it doesn't make up for his poor plays.

Imagine ND had a serviceable QB?

Would make a big difference.

ND has had serviceable QBs. They need to mix in some As in an offense full of Bs & Cs. They need more playmakers at playmaking positions. Surround Carr with playmakers and the offense will be really good.
