Not gonna happen. Big chunk of this fan base exhibits a need to feel wronged in all facets, not just recruiting.Gotta stop this “ jilted lover” attitude towards recruiting.

He’s at OU, he commuted to Oregon but changed his mind right after. He’s super talented and if he wants to come of course we should let him, but he clearly needs to get his head right. Why is he unhappy?
Also- did he end up at Oregon or UCLA?
Or Oklahoma? I seriously don’t know either. Why is he unhappy?

The internet is your friend.Or Oklahoma? I seriously don’t know either.
You’re correct, it is Oklahoma.Or Oklahoma? I seriously don’t know either.
18 year olds are supposedly mature enough to vote and serve their countrySome people on this board. An 18 year old made a mistake so get over it. He wants to come to ND than fine let him come. What is best for both parties is what is important. If Freeman really felt a little snubbed about the hat thing than make him run extra laps or extra push ups, but do not shut it down completely because of a recruite that has been pulled in 100 directions for the last two years. If this has legs than ND should do what it can to get him at ND and maybe it will be a growing up experience
Bad analogy. The difference with the military is they go in as immature boys and come out as men.18 year olds are supposedly mature enough to vote and serve their country
BUT you think they should still have a big pacifier in their mouths.
Horrible analogy, period.Bad analogy. The difference with the military is they go in as immature boys and come out as men.
Well stated.I know how badly we need him at a position of need, but I wouldn’t take him because I think he’s messing with major universities like they’re his little toys to enjoy. He played us and we Fell hard for him, and then he dumped us. I can get over that because these young guys are under a great deal of adult pressure, and changing your mind can be a good decision or a bad decision, and it can take several months to know which. But the way he dumped Oregon for Oklahoma at the last second of a planned announcement, was unforgivable to me, and I don’t want anything to do with him or his money grubbing dad. Oklahoma bought him and I hope they get burned by him signing elsewhere, but not with us.

This is why the unlimited transfer policy is bad for students too. They need boundaries. He’s at OU, he commuted to Oregon but changed his mind right after. He’s super talented and if he wants to come of course we should let him, but he clearly needs to get his head right.
