Belichick has the personality of a fence post. He'll need to hire some recruiters.
Belichick is a hall of fame NFL coach. What does it matter what his personality is? Why wouldn't you want to play for him is my point? Isn't he similar to Saban? Probably better if that is possible?
He's 73 years old. Never coached college football a day in his life. Is a known old school hard ass coach with a shit personality. Why would anyone think that would relate to being a great recruiter of 17 year old kids I have no idea.
Also this isn't the NFL. They didn't want to hire him as well the last 2 years. He couldn't get a job so he decided to go to college ball
Well. Common sense says your odds of making it to the NFL just skyrocketed if your a good prospect. Plus it would be cool to play for him.
NFL picks the best players they scout. I dont think 17 year olds would think it would be cooler to play for 73 year old Belichick than it would be to play for MF, Ryan Day, Lincoln Riley, Sark, Kirby etc etc etc
And the $$ are how teams recruit now. Has anyone reported on an in demand prospect who took a pay cut because he thought some program had superior coaching?
If it matters, Belichek's problem is the perception that he will be gone back to the NFL if he has any kind of success.
The NFL won’t hire Belichik. Teams like the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons will not and did not hire Belichik because he is a smarter than both organizations combined.
