Best LB on the field Saturday?

Jaylon? Joe? or temple's Matakevich? I remember him two years ago as a hitter. Reminded me alot of Kuechly of BC----and we see how that worked out.

Perfect stretch for ND's LB's to play their best.

If our OL does not block him every play Prosise does not run. Enough with the penalties.....DOMINATE temple!!!!

Matakevich is good but not nearly in the same class as Kuechly and Jaylon. He plays the game with intensity, can hit, is hard-nosed, and makes plays but he does not have the speed and quickness that the other two possess. However, I would want him on my team!

I don't think Schmidt is in Cam's league. Cam was a pretty solid player, IMO.

I don't post often. My count was between 100 and 200 when the changes happened, and it was reset. I have no need for multiple ids. I read daily, as time permits, but rarely respond. Morgan plays out of control. That is a huge problem. He might make a spectacular tackle once in 8 attempts, but the other 7 he misses with rarely a slow down of the ball carrier. He needs to play more under control. From the little we have seen from him he does take the block on fairly ok...which none of our other backers outside of JS do correctly.
Personally I think our best chance against standford would be running 5 linebackers one of them being a safety.

Farley might be the worst safety on the country. I hate saying that about one of our own but god damn it he can't plays the run too out of control....takes horrible pursuit angles...(he fish hooks instead of proper angle) ...and this is just about the run. He might be just as bad against the pass.

But he sure loves to tell anyone who will listen just how good he is. He needs to stfu and start playing better fundamental football.

So is there a safety on the roster than is not afraid to get his nose dirty in the box? Plays under control even if beat once in a while with foot speed? We can hide that safety by using 4 other linebackers. There has to be someone because Farley is NOT it...and the Stanford game we better have both barrels loaded and carry a 1911 as well.

So we run 5 linebackers ...morgan, Grace, JS in the box, Jaylon will be the rover and a safety. The safety doesn't have to come up and play 3 yards off the ball but maybe in the 6-7 yard range.

I think Grace will get a lot of PT vs Stanford (assuming ND is at 10-1 going in).
Stanford is big up front and you need power on power.

again, what is your football resume ? your post is full of nonsense and utterly frustrating. judging morgan on how he performed as a true freshman forced into action is lunacy. the sample size this year is way too small. Farley despite his lack of elite physical skills is much more fundamentally sound than redfield. he's rarely out of position and one of the better tacklers. solid player. not sure you understand what you say you have been watching. oh, please tell me about proper angles. I'm dying to hear that. you have obviously never donned a helmet or had a whistle around your neck.
