very surprised by the play of USC last night. Thought the team had really rallied around their interim coach, and thought they were playing physical inspired football that would make it hard for Haden to skip over Him when making the final decision. Last night the Trojans looked very average in execution and less so in attitude. Still hope they crack the top 25 this week, and continue to win.

I, sadly was not. the team is very thin at the Head coaching position. Not optimistic about Oregon and would be amazed if we beat UCLA. I am sorry to say we will be hurting your SOS in the next few weeks. Sorry.

As to the coaching my understanding is that there is almost no way that Helton gets the job. It would take a win out including the bowl plus several turn-downs from higher targets.

He would to me. Right now everyone is focused on Harbaugh, but I doubt he leaves the Ravens. After that Peyton, Stoops, but Dantonio is on the list. Just not at the top.

Dantonio with that defense and running backs So Cal churns out every season is a frightening thought.
