You’re right, Texas will always have to ability to be great when/if they put it altogether. I wasn’t rooting for them for the sole purpose of them beating Bama though (it’s a bonus). My wife is from Texas and so all my in laws live there. Her brother played HS and D1 CFB in Texas. All 3 of my boys were born in Texas and one loves UT while the other loves TCU. The other isn’t really into football at all.

Dynasties are very rare. Sabans at Alabama, Belicek at NE, etc happen very rarely. Talent clearly is not the sole arbiter of success as TEXAS has proven. So crying about this is kind of dumb at this time.

USC could run the table or lose 3 or 4 games. Their defense is bad. If you control time of possession and with the running clock - you can limit Williams. Utah has the blueprint. Plus u gotta hit Williams when he runs
