Alabama Offense

To be fair Bamas defense looked even worse. Some of the big powers are down this year. Clemson, bama, lsu. I think osu may be in that group, we will see. If there’s a year to win a national champions or at least make the playoff this is it.

Georgia still looks good, but they haven't played anyone yet. They've feasted on UT Martin and Ball state. 😂

Carson beck might be a pumpkin. Notre dame might have a significant QB advantage over many of the teams that might have slight athletic advantages over them

White liberal privilege is amazing, I won’t deny that. But he lost big tonight.
Not everything is about Vietnam Walter... You are just as bad as the woke boogeymen you're told to hate. Bro we come here to escape politics act accordingly.

The dude's winning. He won when he recruited CJ Carr and Sam Hartman to ND, and he's winning currently. Why posters choose to take shots at a guy who played QB and was the OC at ND for three years is bizarre IMO.
I took a shot at him? He’s probably tougher on himself than anyone. It was a joke my dude. I enjoy watching a lot of college football but I only truly care about ND winning. He’s not ND anymore.

Another ex ND guy with an awful day: Phil Jurkovec. 10 of 32 in a loss to Cincinnati

I was there when Tommy won as a true freshman QB at USC, after losing to Pete Carroll and USC many many times.

He'll always be Notre Dame.

We’re gonna need 40+ to beat usc
Not if you can control the football on the ground, and with controlled passes, and shorten the game.

And frankly, the ND defense will be more stout at home than San Jose State, Nevada, and Stanford on the road.

When you play San Jose State, Nevada, and Stanford at home, expect this.
I dont care who they are playing. Their offense is ridiculously good. They have the best player in the country and have so much speed and talent. It's insane. They are averaging over 61 ppg in 3 games

USC has not won a PAC 12 title in 14 years, and frankly, after seeing Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Colorado today.... I would not be surprised if it's 15 years after this season.

The conference isn't intimidated by them.

I could care less about the pac 12. I care about Notre Dame. They beat us last year and put up 38 points on us. Their offense looks better this year. Thats what I care about

Colorado might give USC’s defense all it can handle
So will Sam Hartman and Notre Dame, Michael Penix and Washington, Bo Nix and Oregon, and Cameron Rising and Utah.

I do not soil my pants watching them.

Fine. Do it. That’s what it takes to win sometimes in CFB. That’s how it’s set up
Ya I think we’re definitely capable of it especially vs their defense. I’m just saying that it’s unlikely we hold usc under 40. Caleb is a generational QB

If you can control the football on the ground, and control the football with an effective short passing game, and defend better than San Jose State, Nevada and Stanford on the road, don't be so certain of that.

Caleb Williams is one of the best cfb players of all time. Hes so much better than anyone else on the field it's insane

QB reminds me of Wimbush. Talented jacked athlete, can make big plays, but lacks consistent ability to read a defense and make completions.
Seemed like ND had a lot of those kinds of players at QB sprinkled in between the guys we eventually settled on as starters.

Crist, Wimbush, Golson, Buchner, Kiel, and Malik Zaire to be precise.

Flawed pocket passers with a lot of toolsy athleticism.

Oh, Go Texas anyways!
This might not be a good thing for CF in the long run. I've long considered Texas to be the sleeping giant of CF and they have massive NIL sources. Right now, yes, taking it to Alabama is a good thing but down the road?
