The man has done an absolutely incredible job this season. He has not coached college football since 2015. He was a TE coach and LB coach in the NFL. He brought no coaches, blended his defensive structure to the Freeman defensive verbiage. He taught the system to new players and staff he had no familiarity with.
His defense has had some struggles with big plays, long drives, lack of turnovers and getting off the field, especially on 3rd and long. But the ND defense in the losses, gave up 20, 26. and 16 points. In modern day college football that is outstanding
He did a phenomenal job rebuilding Temple. And in retrospect, he did not do a bad job at Miami. It would suck to lose him, and I have no idea at 53 years old, if he even wants to be a Head Coach again, but it he does, he should get a shot. I think he is one heck of a coach, and was a great hire
