,I hope there is no let down against North Carolina State ,through the years, seen it many times in college football . Notre Dame's loss to BC after beating #1 powerhouse Florida State and I remember Wllingham' s Irish team routing Stanford then being routed by Syracuse the next week saving their head coach's (?) job for one year. it happens all the time Oklahoma trouncing Ohio State, then getting beat by 35point under dog Iowa State

National Championship picture . Ohio state ,Penn State in the Big 10 , Alabama , Georgia in SEC , Clemson , Miami in ACC , TCU and Oklahoma in Big 12.honestly don't see a PAC 12 team so far . Washington ,ND have to win out plus get some help from from other teams .Upsets?

But right now Notre Dame will face North Carolina State and its' tough front four defensive line. No let down .

We've had our mulligan. There can be no more blemishes going forward. I'm sure the team knows it. Thank god we lost to UGA and not a bad team.

ND understands what they must do to answer the failings of 2016. One game at a time until the last victory has been won. The next target: NC State.

They had a chance to recharge with the bye week, they seem to love playing this year, and they're a lot of guys rotating in and out and making genuine contributions. It all helps keep everyone motivated.

And NC State's a good team. I don't see these guys thinking they can take a breather until maybe after the Miami game. Even then, they don't look like they want to be taking any breathers.
