not a good rb, he looked good last year when he was never touched

Adams is fine. The offensive line sucks. They should fire Hiestand next. ;) The playcalling sucks too, specially in the red zone.

I disagree, there's holes, he's running hesitant and soft

Adams does look slow and tentative. Running plays ND runs are FAR from quick hitters. Very slow in developing

I think ND spends so much time looking for big, gaudy plays that they overlook some of the more basic "hey, let's pick up four yards here and line up again" approach.

As to Adams he likes to see a seam and then he accelerates through it. He is not that good at putting his shoulder down and taking three yards when that's all there is.

Josh does look like he's lumbering. The OL isn't helping matters either. I don't know if Folston even played.

Adams has run tentative all year. I'd give Dexter more looks.

That's because he's banged up and has been since the Texas game. My best friend's a Penn State fan so he knows Adams and even he can see that Josh is hurt. He did have a heck of a run in the 4th quarter.

I actually liked that they got back to the chunk plays today and felt they "peck peck pecked" too much last week against Duke. Everything was short and to the middle of the field last week. Nothing deep and to the outside like we saw today. And that was after #31 lit a few of our Wides up. He was setting up shop and Kizer kept going right over the Mike's head or to the 10 yard curl.

We all realize that Cuse has one of the worst defenses in the country, right? Total defense: 111, Rush defense: 104, Scoring defense: 105. The fact that we were stopped from scoring TDs in the Red Zone shines a light on that great big matzo ball hanging over the heads of the offense.

It's the stupid zone read, Kizer has too hold the ball too long and the RB's are not at full speed when they get the ball. I would like to see more traditional handoffs ...
