Need Greathouse and LoveThe class is VERY defense-leaning though.
Out of the composite top 150 only 2 of the 8 blue-chips committed to ND are offensive players and only one of them is a skill player.
Obviously this can change over the next 5 months but we need way more fire power on offense (which is the more important side of the ball).
And it's even better when you combine the class with the 2022 group. This 2023 class is unbelievable. I can’t remember a potentially more talented class. String a few classes like this together and you can compete with anyone
Bisontis no. The others yes but you can't get everyone. No one doesI think the injuries to Price and Diggs just shows how much depth means. You have to get top talent 2-3 deep and highly evaluated recruits. ND can't keep affording to lose out on the Proctor,Bisontis,D.Moore,Tate,Inniss,Muhammed,Downs and M'Pemba types and expect to hang with Bama and a few others. Time to close the deals and win some of these top recruits.
BothThe Irish have 19 commits, adding up to an average ranking of commit of 93.20, with a total score of 280.72. They’re closing fast on the 2013 class that totaled a score of 284.77 and finished No. 5 nationally. It’ll be interesting to see where that places us vs the competition when all is said and done. I expect we land at least two more recruits. Greathouse appears a lock. Hanafin seems like we lead. Outside of that, it’s going to be a dogfight I presume for the remaining guys. If CJ reclassified, this would fly off the rails with those 3. I’m hoping we get a surprise. Loy said things are trending well with Love. Then we do still have to hold onto everyone, which is always a challenge and likely we lose someone. I’m hoping Love, Hanafin, Ausberry set a date soon. I’m still trying to determine who the 6th silent is - Hanafin or Ausberry.
Both
Jagusah wasnt one of the silents. That would make 7. He said 6. Unless you think Greathouse is not a silent.
interesting. I assume you got this from a legit source.Jagusah wasnt one of the silents.
There was 3 left. Greathouse is next and there will be 2 left
His podcast. Unless i heard it wrong. But that's what it sounded likeinteresting. I assume you got this from a legit source.
This 100%. This is Alabama, OSU, Georgia level recruiting year after year. This 2023 class is unbelievable. I can’t remember a potentially more talented class. String a few classes like this together and you can compete with anyone
The elite recruiting schools shoot for that 300 level on the Composite. Now granted, the elite schools sometimes don't have the numbers to push them to that 300 figure and that's when the average per recruit really comes into play. The 93.20 rating that ND now has is BIGTIME - ELITEThe Irish have 19 commits, adding up to an average ranking of commit of 93.20, with a total score of 280.72. would love to see another WR so Hanafin can start at the position he's most likely to have a chance at being at in the NFL. Safety or even grow into OLB.If we get Greathouse, Hanafin, Love, Ausberry and a couple more to round it out, it should be the best class since before the rankings dating back to 90’s.
Disagree. I read that scumbag Urban Meyer - when he was at OSU - use to pay attention to a few of the recruiting services and used his high rankings as a pitch to recruits he was after - emphasizing the high recruits that a kid could be joining if he chose OSU. I'm sure some of the other coaches do the sameThe elite recruiting schools don't know what the composite score is.

Thank You for that intel. There are some picture that I saw out there where Dante was surrounded by a very attractive female at Oregon. I wonder if this is a ploy being used as well. Nobody would ever admit to doing it on purpose of course.
Alabama uses this ploy all the time. Nothing illegal about it. Do you have any links of Notre Dame employing this strategy?Alabama uses this ploy all the time. Nothing illegal about it. Those girls disappear once the kid is signed, sealed and delivered

You sound like Decker. They don’t use women like that at ND. ND chicks are too smart for that BS anyhow. There’s a misnomer that ND girls aren’t cute bc they’re smart. It’s quite funny. ND is loaded with rich Cali and NY chicks. National school full of smart, gorgeous college girls. Of course they’re not all cute, but to think ND girls are ugly, which some think, simply because they’re smart is ludicrous. Skylar Diggins was gorgeous and married one of our football players. To think at ND your girlfriend could be hot and smart, not just hot. I remember my first ND game when I was in HS. We sat just outside the student section and it was 80+ and sunny. I was in heaven.
How many recruits is ND taking? That has a lot to do with that magic 300 points on the Composite which is usually reserved for just 2 or 3 teams every year. With losing out on Moore and Moore, and likely not getting Love, I don’t think we push 300 pts/top5 recruiting class this year. Still an incredible class, all things considered. Next year could be absolutely absurd if we show up on the field.
I believe the goal is 24 or 25, but I’m not positive on that. How many recruits is ND taking? That has a lot to do with that magic 300 points on the Composite which is usually reserved for just 2 or 3 teams every year.

Sources saying he’s a Bama lean at this point. Lots of time left before NSD, but he may commit before his season begins. Why likely not getting Love?
I doubt that but we'll see. They are the favorites for Richard YoungSources saying he’s a Bama lean at this point. Lots of time left before NSD, but he may commit before his season begins.
Yea it’s not a lock by any means. ND is still in it for sure, but it appears we are second. This all can obviously change quickly.I doubt that but we'll see. They are the favorites for Richard Young
Id say first right now. But we shall seeYea it’s not a lock by any means. ND is still in it for sure, but it appears we are second. This all can obviously change quickly.
